Volunteer In Lombok initiated in 2008 in Sembalun Village and now we have new location in Tunjang Polak village.
The program managed by Indonesians:
Verena Setyawati, who has been working for several years in international NGO.
Nana, studied English in university and an English teacher in one of Mataram high school.
The program centres around volunteer teaching in local Primary and Secondary Schools where native speakers can help students and teachers with their conversational English. Although native speakers are preferred, it is often possible for non-native who speaks fluent English to apply.
We try our best to immerse our guests in the local culture and environment, so this is a perfect programme for those interested in learning more about Indonesian culture, cuisine or the Bahasa Indonesia.
